Anime Quote:

"There's no such thing as a painless lesson-they just don't exist. Sacrifices are necessary. You can't gain anything without losing something first. Although if you can endure that pain and walk away from it, you'll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yeah... a heart made Fullmetal." - Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)

Anime Spotlight #1: Ouran High School Host Club

Ouran High is a school for the extremely wealthy or, in Haruhi's case, the extremely talented. But no amount of talent will help when Haruhi accidentally drops an eight million yen vase in a music room. The vase was the property of Ouran High School Host Club, a group of attractive young men who, for a fee, provide their time and affections for their lovesick clientele: the female students. Fascinated by this strange new specimen, a poor and clumsy commoner, they force Haruhi to work for them until the debt is repaid; but they get a lot more than they bargained for...

Review of Blue Exorcist (Ao no Exorcist)

I was putting off this Anime for a while and I don't know why, because as soon as I watched ep 1... Well that was me hooked.

The storyline was AMAZING and UNIQUE. Okay yes throughout the whole thing I was thinking of how much certain things reminded me of other anime but that’s to be expected once you have watched so much anime. Other than that it was unique in every way. The twists and turns it took left me clicking for the next episode and the comedy in it helped with the emotion when it got to a certain point.

The sound and animation in my opinion was spot on and didn't need any work. Although other people may think different. The "Dubbed" voice actors were amazing. Especially Johnny who voiced Yukio :D

The main two characters. The brothers. The love and care they have for each other. This is when I realised that the love of those two were just like the love of "Ed and Al" from "Fullmetal Alchemist"(Also Rin reminded me a lot of Ed and also Yukio of Al).

Rin is the "Main" character with Yukio coming a close second. I loved how although Rin was the main character they made room to explore the other characters in the anime. The friendship in this anime was very well developed.

Overall I loved this Anime and I am very pleased that I watched it. (Also the opening and Closing themes for this anime was amazing)

Top 20 Anime Opening Songs

Review of Guilty Crown

First off... I know loads of people are saying how much this reminded people of other anime but to be honest most anime now remind us of other anime if we have watched so many. But there is normally something which is utter unique and to me I found that and it was the most amazing thing ever.

The storyline was alike to other anime but also different. The fact that I got hooked with the storyline from the 2nd episode means it will be a great anime unless something goes dreadfully wrong. The storyline kept me so intrigued for more and when somit happened out of the ordinary and I was actually shocked you should have seen me and heard me... my family was a little weird and some of the expressions I was making at certain points in this anime. And let’s not forget the fact this anime "Made ME Cry".

The Animation and Sound was amazing and perfect in every way. I rarely speak much of the Animation and Sound as I doubt I could do a better job to me, so it would take a lot to make me un happy with the Sound and Animation. Also the voice actors were perfect in the "Dubbed" version although I have heard the subbed is much better.

The characters... wow... What can I say about that. First off the main Boy in this yes, was a little bit of Wimp and cry baby at times but SO WOULD I, if I was thrust into the life he was thrown in. He made mistakes, he got people killed and hurt. But to be honest... he learnt from those mistakes and tried rly hard to be strong and do the right thing. The main Girl was pretty amazing and I loved her from the get go. I loved how she cared about him even when everyone else turned their backs on him.

Overall I loved this Anime with a passion and the ending was amazing.

Review of Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club

This being the first ever sport related anime I watched, I was thinking the worst...

I really shouldn’t have as I enjoyed all of it, though it was hard to get into it at first.

The storyline is nothing I've ever watched before and was almost perfect in my eyes. At times I just wanted something magical to happen but of course this isn’t my normal magical shows (haha).

The Animation and sound were perfect and amazing.

The characters were unique as each character had something different and strange about them. They were also strong in different ways as they clearly are all strong/ish in strength as they SWIM but I mean some are strong in the fact they can cope well with hard situations. Then there’s the point that all of the guys are pretty god damn hot!

Overall I really enjoyed this anime and can't wait till I watch the second season.

Review of Hiiro no Kakera: The Tamayori Princess Saga

I found this out by searching for random anime… this came up and It was in dub... soo I was like "Why not!?" The storyline was freaking perfect and unique and I haven’t really seen anything like this before in books or anime.

The animation and sound was done really well and went well with the anime and made it feel realistic like I was there with the characters.

The characters were developed so well and amazing and each one had flaws and things that they needed to work on. Thought I loved most characters 1 or 2 really bugged me...and felt like they weren't needed…

My overall opinion of this anime was I loved it so much and I was excited to know that there was a second season.

Review of D.N.Angel (Old Review)

When I first got told about this, I was a little unsure if I would like it, but because it was my boyfriend who suggested it, I felt I had to give it a try.

So I click ep 1 and not long in the first ep and I am screaming (good screaming) because a cute little thing is on the screen and I'm dying of happiness (not actually dying, don’t worry) and so cute and I am so like... watching it because of that one cute thing.

So anyway I start watching it and I'm like... hmm this is interesting but weird... but then as I get further into the series the storyline starts getting more interesting and the animation is well done. The sound of the anime is perfectly good and the characters get developed so good and well.

I get to the end and I am not upset at all, I am happy with the way it ended apart from 1 thing.... but I can't say what that is.

Overall I loved this anime with a passion and it is most definitely one of my faves.

Review of Clannad

This was an anime that made me cry so much and the emotions that ran through me were so real. No other anime has managed to make me feel the way this anime did.

The storyline was unique and perfect and though some of the things in this anime aren’t really seen as realistic... you have to think... are you sure this isn’t happening in real life?!

The animation was fantastic and amazing and especially the points where the girl is kicking a certain boy all the way and the kick count is shown on the screen.

The sound is fantastic and the dubbed voice actors are very well done and suited for each character.

The characters are perfect and flawed at the same time which makes this whole thing so real and amazing. Not one of the characters has nothing wrong, or is in need of help. I love the fact that it shows that friendship is so important.

My overall opinion of this anime is it was perfect and amazing and I was so glad that my friend managed to get me to watch it.

Review of Shakugan no Shana (Old Review)

When my friend first told me about this, I knew it may take me a while to get used to it, as I felt it may remind me of books I have read etc.... but after a few episodes I was hooked, I couldn't stop watching it!

The animation was sooooooo well done and close to perfect and the sound was really spot on :)

The fighting scenes in this were so good and amazing.

The main characters were well thought about and developed really nice and I loved the fact it was the main guy that was weak, and couldn't really protect himself or others. The ((English)) voice actors were good enough for my standards and I felt they were perfect for the characters they were voicing.

I loved that even though this is magic, romance and action etc... There were also some funny moments that made me giggle.

Overall I loved the concept of this Anime and I couldn't wait to watch Shakugan no Shana 2.
